Who we are
shrug.games is a small crew who like playing games together and got tired of unreliable server hosting. Instead of complaining about it, we built something better.
We run game servers on real infrastructure with proper monitoring, backups, and maintenance. Not some spare desktop in a closet. Not a free-tier cloud instance that falls over when a fourth player joins.
The dogfooding thing
Here’s the deal: we play on the same servers we host for you. Our RuneScape: Dragonwilds world runs on the same hardware and config as yours.
When we make an improvement, we feel it first. When something breaks, we notice before you do (usually). This isn’t a marketing gimmick – it’s how we make sure the service is actually good. We’ve been grinding this skill for a while.
